CSJ Application Consultation
A specialized consultation for Canada Summer Job program applications specifically.
Service Description
The Canada Summer Jobs wage subsidy provides wage subsidies to support employers from not-for-profit organizations and the public sector, as well as private sector organizations with 50 or fewer full-time employees, to create quality summer work experiences for youth aged 15 to 30 years. Employers may also be eligible for overhead costs incurred by the employer for accommodation measures to remove barriers for youth with a disability. This highly popular program receives thousands of applications each year, and depending on the geographic location of the project activities, applications can face a very high level of competition for funding. As such, having the strongest application possible, and understanding how the program is structured is essential for employees to be as successful as possible. These consultations are led by Kelly Thompson, who previously worked in the CSJ program as a program officer, and who also received certification as a certified grants and contributions practitioner within the Government of Canada. Kelly will review how the program is structured, provide best practices and recommendations based on your organization's specific circumstances for the best chances possible, along with going over what to expect between applying, and being informed of your funding. As these consultations are private, these meetings are far more conversational in approach than our class-style generalized sessions, and you will have the ability to ask as many questions as possible. Please note, while these consultations aim to give you the best chance possible of being awarded funding, we do not guarantee success with your application.
